Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre
The "boards" in Beef & Boards refers to "the boards" -- the theatre term for "the stage." We are Indiana's only year-round, equity dinner theatre. Equity refers to the Actors' Equity Association, the only union for professional actors. Did you know there are only six other full-time, equity dinner theatres in the entire country? And Beef & Boards is about to celebrate its 40th season--lucky for Indy!
And the "beef" part? That's a nod to the hand-carved roast beef that the theater serves (along with other items) before performances.
Entertaining more than 155,000 theatergoers annually, Beef & Boards also offers a full-service bar and gourmet desserts, in a comfortable, intimate atmosphere on Indianapolis' north side.
