As well as hosting the Indiana State Fair every summer, the fairgrounds host more than 300 other events each year (including the Indianapolis Boat, Sport & Travel Show, the Indiana Flower & Patio Show, the Christmas Gift & Hobby Show, and the Indianapolis Home Show. Other weekend offerings throughout the year might include anything from flea markets, to cat shows, to public ice skating, to roller derby bouts (featuring the city?s own Naptown Roller Girls).
