Lucas Oil Stadium is a state-of-the-art retractable roof multi-purpose venue which features spectacular views of the downtown Indianapolis skyline. The stadium seats over 63,000 for football games and other events and also boasts a FieldTurf in-fill playing surface, 7 lockers rooms, operable north window, dual two-level club lounges, 137 suites (including 8 at field level), retractable sideline seating, large video boards, ribbon boards, spacious concourses, exhibit halls and meeting rooms.
Connected to the Indiana Convention Center via a climate-controlled walkway, it offers public tours every week that give participants an up-close and personal look at all the stadium has to offer. Tours last approximately one hour and include visits to the playing field, an NFL locker room, Lucas Oil Plaza, the press box, and numerous other areas (depending on availability) that are generally inaccessible to the public. The tours are typically conducted at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m. every Tuesday and Wednesday. Cost is $7 for adults and $5 for seniors age 65 and over and children ages 4-12. Children ages 3 and under are free when accompanied by a paying adult. Tickets are available only on the day of the tour and are sold on a first-come, first-serve basis. Tickets can be purchased at the exterior ticket windows of the Colts Pro Shop located at the northeast side of the stadium, near the corner of South St. and Capitol Ave. Large groups may want to consider scheduling a private tour.
