Rhythm! Discovery Center is a place for visitors of all ages to experience rhythm and percussion. Explore our wide variety of percussion instruments and artifacts from around the world, through interactive exhibits and dynamic multi-media experiences. Learn about rhythm, its role in society and connections to daily life. USA Today recently listed RDC as one of nation's top places for hands-on music making.
Everyone has rhythm. Have you discovered yours? Feel the vibrations run through your body when you play an 8-foot gong drum. Rock out on a drum set, play symphonic percussion instruments or have a jam session with your friends and family in our hands-on area.
Find us on the lower level of Claypool Court, in the heart of Downtown Indianapolis, at the intersection of Illinois and Washington Streets.
Open Mon.-Sat., 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; Sun., 12-5 p.m.
Admission: $9, adults; $8, seniors; $6, students; free, children 5 and under.
