World War II Memorial

700 N. Pennsylvania St., Indianapolis, IN 46204 | view on map

Designed in 1998 by Patrick Brunner, this limestone and granite work honors Indiana casualties of World War II, and includes a freestanding column that lists all of the war's campaigns and operations. Similar in shape to the nearby Vietnam and Korean war memorials, the World War II memorial is significantly larger, reflecting the second world war's greater size and scale.
