The 500 Festival culminates its month long celebration on the eve of the Indianapolis 500 with the Snakepit Ball, which has become a race-eve tradition since its inception in 2004. Known as the place to see the stars, the black-tie preferred party includes red carpet arrivals by celebrities in town for race weekend and special VIP guests. Dinner and dancing rounds out the evening's events.

This year's headliner is Grammy award-winner Rick Springfield. His career has spanned more than three decades and has sold more than 19 million albums. His hits, including the Billboard number one "Jessie's Girl," have made the top 10 five times and charted 17 times in the top 40. He enjoyed the most success during the early '80s when he also portrayed Dr. Noah Drake on TV's General Hospital.
