The Arts Council supports the hundreds of arts organizations and thousands of working artists in Indianapolis through a variety of programs and services.
It also works to broaden and diversify arts audiences through such efforts as free arts performances and exhibits in the Indianapolis Artsgarden. This unique structure offers free performances and exhibits, and houses TicketCentral, a one-stop source for arts event information and tickets. Elevated walkways link it to Circle Centre mall, hotels, offices, shops and restaurants. Available for rental for non-profit and corporate events.
The Arts Council has recently developed a new Internet based tool that makes finding 60 pieces of public art in Indianapolis easier than ever before. The Public Art Locator (P.A.L.) features choices of street or satellite maps, categories of public art for enhanced searching and photos and background information.
