The Georgia Street improvement project will establish a convention and community events venue, while enhancing the character and functionality of downtown's Wholesale District. Georgia St., from Bankers Life Fieldhouse (Pennsylvania St.) to the Indiana Convention Center (Capitol Ave.), will add to the revitalization and beautification downtown with rain gardens, decorative lighting, scenic landscaping and a connection to the Indianapolis Cultural Trail as well as increased safety for bicycles and pedestrians.
