Among its many accolades, Golf Digest ranks Purgatory as one of "America's 50 Toughest Golf Courses" and one of "America's 100 Greatest Public Courses." Golf for Women calls it one of the "Top 50 Courses for Women." With 125 traps, the course's bunkers are the biggest obstacle. Golfers of all skill levels are welcome.
