The Central Canal Towpath stretches from Broad Ripple Village southwest to 30th St. at White River. Major access is at Broad Ripple Ave and Westfield Blvd, or 30th St. at Riverside Regional Park.

  • Length: 5.23 miles

  • Activities: Walking, bicycling, cross-country skiing

  • Surface: Crushed limestone chip, 5'-8' wide

  • Destinations: Broad Ripple Village, Butler University, Indianapolis Museum of Art, IMA Nature Trail, Riverside Regional Park, Riverside Golf Academy, Marian College, and Christian Theological Seminary.
