Where to Meet
Where to Meet
The plan was drawn up years ago: a deliberate strategy to make the city of Indianapolis a first-pick destination for conventions and events.
As attendees arrive in Indianapolis, the stage is immediately set by the new Indianapolis International Airport, the first airport designed and built after 9/11. It was recently ranked Number 1 in customer satisfaction among all America’s airports by J.D. Power and Associates. MSN Travel called it “amazing.” And it's a short 15 minutes from downtown.
One of the largest convention centers in America, the Indiana Convention Center is connected by skywalks to more hotel rooms than any other city in the nation (including the new 1,005-room JW Marriott Indianapolis).
Also linked to the center and hotels is a four-story urban shopping mall with shops ranging from Nordstrom to Gap, from Carson Pirie Scott to American Eagle Outfitters.
It's all surrounded by more than 200 restaurants and clubs, well-known sports venues, and a 10-block state park that features top museums, green space and a convenient canal walk that feels a world away.
It’s a campus feel, connected and convenient to everything your attendees want from a meeting: no time wasted commuting to and from hotel rooms, and great places to get together before and after meetings—no matter what they like to do.
