Fact: Your attendees may not have had Indianapolis on their bucket list.
We're prepared for that. We'll help you get them pumped up.
First, we can adapt our website with your logo—go ahead and wander around the Visitor side and you'll see there's a lot to discover. It shows well. Check it out in the Planner's Toolkit, along with the banner ads and embedded videos and excellent photos that we have there.
Secondly, we have a lot of tricks up our sleeve to promote the city—from catering to special interests with custom information, to the little touches that we consider standard procedure. (Coupons, anyone? It's amazing how much attendees love coupons—they function as both recommendation and a way to imagine “being' in the city, while saving money at the same time.)
We've done this a lot.
And once they're here, we're determined to create delight: it makes a good meeting for you, and it creates word of mouth for us. Talk to us—we'll put up banners, wrap skywalks, change out street signs: we've done it all for different out-of-towners.
We have the best volunteer army in America, too—groups of people just waiting to know if they can help, and eager to learn how.
Another Fact: Indianapolis will knock itself out showing you more hospitality than you're used to when you arrive. It's not something you're prepared for until you're here—almost all cities will claim it. Ask directions of any random stranger in Indianapolis, and you'll see. They'll try to answer as thoroughly and helpfully and kindly as they can—as if every time someone asks them, there's a contest for “Best Directions Giving” and they stand a chance to win it.
