A canoe race on the downtown canal! The inaugural half-mile race will be held at the north end of the canal running from the Buggs' Temple end to the USS Indianapolis basin and back. There will be four-person teams of paddlers racing in canoes, two paddlers at a time. The race will be held rain or shine.
