The atmosphere of the lobby and building are wonderful. They have preserved many original details of the historical building. The rooms were a nice size, very clean and quiet. Housekeeping and food service use the same elevators as the guest making it uncomfortable to get from one floor to another. Do not make the mistake of taking the stairs. We were trapped and had to call and have someone let us out.

If you are going to treat yourself to a downtown stay while in Indianapolis this hotel is great. The staff, service and rooms are 5 star. The beds in the suites were the only negative as the comforter was too heavy for the summer/fall season. The area is close to everything downtown and seems to be safe as my wife and I were out past 11 p.m. and many single females and couples were out and about enjoying life. I also recommend the horse and carriage ride around the city from the base of the monument at city center. Thank you to the staff of the Hilton Garden for making our stay special!

Wow! The hotel is great, the staff is great, the room was wonderful, the location is central to everything downtown Indy has to offer. What a great place to stay. It was our 21st wedding anniversary, and we were given a room on the top floor. Great view! We had a fabulous dinner at Fogo de Chao which was a short walk from the hotel. We will definitely be coming back!!! A special thanks to the staff that set us up with the room and welcomed us on our anniversary!

The staff was incredibly wonderful! The room was beautiful, spacious, immaculate, and had more amenities than I had asked for without an extra charge. This was the most perfect experience I've had in Indy. This hotel was easily the best I have ever stayed in. I will absolutely be back there for every Indy trip.
