Great experience!
I contacted the manager a week in advance to secure a table for 10. She offered a semi-private table for us that ended up as an absolutely perfect choice. The appetizers were incredible and the wine list was very extensive. My wife ordered her steak medium and it came well done. The waitress immediately took it back and returned a few minutes later with a steak that my wife described as "perfect." The waitress was VERY accommodating to any request that we made. For example, the smallest filet on the menu is a 10 oz. portion - too large for some appetites. The waitress offered a 7 oz. portion as another option. We will definitely go back!

Yum
This is not a cheap lunch. However, if you're looking for more than burgers or deli fare, this is a great place to indulge your taste buds. I had a steak sandwich and my friend had the prawns. Both were outstanding and proved worth every dollar. The outdoor dining is great as you're in the heart of downtown. Inside, the decor is cool and classy yet much more contemporary than St. Elmo's (its sister restaurant).

Best steak in town
If you are a fan of steak, you can't go wrong. I would recommend the "Izzy Style New York Strip." It was terrific! My wife had the chopped steak with blue cheese. Again very good entree which was actually priced well. And of course the shrimp cocktail is a must. Overall I would say that the owners did the perfect thing with this restaurant; they took the things everyone likes about St. Elmo's and fixed the atmosphere and selection at which people wish St. Elmo's was better. All in all a great dining experience.

Good Spot
A great place to meet a friend for drinks after work, although not cheap. Our appetizers were not as good as they sounded on the menu, but the service, cool atmosphere and great mixed drinks helped make up for that. We were hoping for a happy hour or drink specials, but they don't offer that. They do, however, offer a great-looking selection of food. If you choose from the list of appetizers, I would recommend the toasted ravioli - our favorite from the selection we had.

Interesting building. Exceeds the food.
Ok. The reviews I have read are good. However, I am sorry to say I do not remember what myself and my partner ordered. All I can say, is that is was nothing special. The wine list I agree is extensive, but way too expensive. I marked the service as poor. That is not to say we were kept waiting, indeed the opposite. Although the restaurant was not full, I felt rushed. My over-riding impression is that the food was forgettable, the wine too expensive, and the service rushed. The building and interior however, were amazing and for that alone, I am glad I visited.
Thank-you.

Better than St. Elmo's
Food which rivals that of its sister restaurant, St. Elmo's. Atmosphere that is one of the best in the state. Overall a wonderful dining experience. Two suggestions, ask to sit in the upstairs rooms, save room for Creme Brulee!!
