Bembe is an eight piece band with members from different countries,
Puerto Rico, Peru, Panama and Columbia, creating their own unique style,
not only playing Salsa, Bomba and Plena, but for the other popular
genders Bembe has performed like Bachata and Merengue. Music is played
mainly with string base, major Latin percussion (congas, timbales and bongos) and lyrics but with the addition of the keyboard and the
cuartro, typical Puerto Rican string instrument, it's very hard to
resist moving your body.
