Indy is the Amateur Sports Capital of the World, but we’re also robust in a variety of pro sports to excite any fanatic. We’ve got the Indy 500, Brickyard 400, NFL Colts, NBA Pacers, WNBA Fever, NHRA U.S. Nationals, ECHL Indy Fuel, and USL Indy Eleven, to name a few. Indy is also home to the NCAA headquarters, the largest indoor aquatic facility in the nation (IU Natatorium), and three Pete Dye-designed golf courses. So, naturally, we have some heavy-hitting sporting events lined up on the calendar, especially in 2024.
In June 2024, the city of Indianapolis is set to be the venue for the 2024 U.S. Olympic Team Trials – Swimming.
